A math team meet is an opportunity to compete against other students interested in mathematics. It is a great opportunity to practice your skills and rise to challenges! It is a team competition, with the official team consisting of 5 members. Extra, unofficial members may also participate.

If traveling:
The bus will leave RHAM sometime between 1:40 and 2:15, depending on the distance. The departure time will be posted/communicated in advance.
Refreshments (donuts and milk or juice) will be provided at the meet.

Each meet has 5 individual rounds (10 minutes each; general topics known in advance) and a team round.
Individual Round: 10 minutes to answer 3 questions. [The first question is worth 1 point, the second question is worth 2 points, and the last question is worth 3 points]
Team Round (last round): The entire official team will have 10 minutes to collaboratively answer 5 questions. Each question is worth 3 points. Unofficial team members from each school may also compete in the team round at a table separate from the official team.

- The OFFICIAL Team is made up of 5 official members:
- Maximum of 3 seniors
- Minimum of 1 underclassman (freshman or sophomore)
- We can have unofficial team members as well, which is great for practice
- Each member, official or unofficial, competes in 3 rounds. There is a maximum of 3 official members per round.
JV MEET:
- No Calculators are allowed for any rounds. [It is more fun and challenging that way!]
- The OFFICIAL Team is made up of 5 official members (Grades, 8, 9, and 10):
- Maximum of 3 sophomores
- Minimum of 2 freshmen (or younger)
- We can have unofficial team members as well, which is great for practice
- Each member, official or unofficial, competes in 3 rounds. There is a maximum of 3 official members per round.
